Damn, another year, another quarter. Wait Wait, let me switch to some Hindi background music. Aah much better. College sucks. Correction, college with ambitious desi parents sucks.When I was in high school, I used to think that college was like the movies. Total LIE. I'm not sure if you guys are in high school or college, but no, college is not about parties or Greek life (my UC doesn't even have frat houses) its about trying to get into professional school, while not being a complete LONER. haha. At least that's it from my point of view.
Today, when I went to to the Med School Library, (I'm an undergrad), I opened my physics book and I swear there was some sort of achar or curry stain on it. And I don't even eat near my books. I swear, achar : clean books :: fireflies:light. Fireflies glow because of a compound called luceferin, which undergoes fatty acid activation. YAY for metabolics. Not. And that last "not" is for you guys who thought I was considering my rishtaa. I swear, while I was in the library, every time I made a funny face or did something really awkward there was a cute gora or a really cute desi guy walking by. Its like a curse :( As I was leaving the library, I saw a gora studying the same material (and there's only one teacher, so he's in my class), I wanted to go up to him and say, "Oh yaar, I sympathize with you!" And I just discovered a हिंदी translation feature! No expectations though! As I was walking by the food court, I saw a boatload of people by the Indian restaurant, I felt a surge of desi pride! Finally some goras eating curry.
And sorry for the incoherence, comes after hours of studying the fizzicks and biochem :D Now, batao what subjects get on YOUR nerves?
