In all honesty, I actually keep a list of topics to write about, but the laptop that had it sort of crashed....but don't worry, my desi computer skills are coming in. I'm going to repair it over spring break. haha.

Hakuna Matata!

I am done with my biochem midterm! I am free for a week...kind of. I pretty much have 1 or 2 midterms until finals week. It's so weird, now that I am done studying for biochem until finals, I don't know what to do....ahhh I'm such a loner. And I have a headache. Enough complaining....for today! I might actually go out tomorrow night to a dance....but not with a guy of course! But that's not saying that I won't meet one there.. I'm actually excited about something non-academic for once! (Other than the fact that my Professor recognizes me out of a class of 400) lols. Speaking of,( I don't know how this relates), but I've been seeing a lot of desi guys with Asian girls at my school. Ehhhhh whatever, they're weeding out the crappy ones anyone. JK!

I'm writing this post as I am trying to find a good desi movie to watch, but all the Telugu movies are shit now. I tried to start watching "Ye Maaya Chesave" because I heard the songs, and they were really good, but the movie starts off really slow. I am going to start "Varudu" mainly because the opening poster had Allu Arjun's six-pack plastered all over it. I need some suggestions here people!

As I was reading this MLIA today, I almost loled. IRL.

-          Today I realized that my head voice has a male indian accent. I'm a 100% american girl... Im really confused. MLIA ....and no, I didn't make that up. That was real. But I understand, the voice in my head switches from telugu to english and hindi. (but sadly, taking 4.5 years of spanish in jr high, hs, and college didn't remedy that).

Motivation...

How do you guys get motivated to study?? Gah, I have a biochemistry midterm soon and the teacher keeps on adding material that we need to memorize. I don't know what to do. I wish I had a life. Or I wish this quarter was over. And I wish that I could just apply and get rejected already. What do you guys use for motivation besides the desi parental unit? I swear! I still study more than most people, but I still get average grades. Bullshit.......

PLUG. I was hoping you guys could "plug" me on your Facebook or something and promote...idk how else to get more readers to read my furst class writing.

Interesting Fact of the day....

So when I was little, about in 1st or 2nd grade, we used to have spelling words that we would have to memorize every week. My mom would tell me the word, and I would have to write it out on a paper or say it out loud. Every time I got one wrong, she would tell me I failed. So until about 7th/8th grade I realized that getting one wrong wasn't failing. And the sad part is that IS true. Lols. Do you guys have anything ridiculously stupid your desi parents made you believe?

Physics!

To state the obvious, I'm Indian! So I must dedicate this post to Physics. I was at the help center for physics students, and there were 2 other Indian people there (1 year younger than me I presume), and since there were only 2 TAs to help a room of about 35 students with questions, you have to raise your hand for 30 mins at a time to get any help. So I had my hand up, expecting that the TA would come to me next, when I put it down for a millisecond, and the other Indian dude raised his, thus securing the TA for himself. I was so mad I could fail him! Gah.

Today as I was walking from the shuttle stop to my apt complex, I saw a car with a Ganesha idol in it. I so wanted to leave a Post-It that said something along the lines of, "Go India!" or something corny like that. Should I do it? Huh? Huh? Huh?
